A Little Reported Story

"Let therefore every man, that, appealing to his own heart, feels the least spark of virtue or freedom there, think that it is an honor which he owes himself, and a duty which he owes his country, to bear arms." — British colonial statesman Thomas Pownhall (1722-1805)

This is a story about a Jewish family living in a small community in Israel. It3-month old Hadas Folger, stabed to death. Ctrl-click for larger image. was a family like yours or mine — a mother, a father and five children — Fogel family. The father Udi (36), the mother Ruth (35), along with 3 of their children, Yoav (11), Elad (4) and Hadas (3 months old) were stabbed to death on the night of Friday, March 11, 2011 as they slept peacefully in the modest home.

The Fogel’s eldest child, 12 year old Tamar arrived home Friday night wondering why the door to her home was locked. Then she wondered why she heard the sound of her 2 year old brother Yisha crying, and wondered why her parents weren't calming him down.

She found her 2 year old brother in her parent’s room, her parents lay dead on their beds as he cried and tried to wake them.

The assailants apparently entered the Fogel's home through a living room window. They did not notice a 6-year-old boy sleeping on the couch and continued on to the bedroom, where they slashed the throats of the father and newborn baby sleeping there. At the sight of this horrific scene Tamar ran out of the house screaming.

According to Israeli investigators the mother, Ruth, came out of the bathroom and was stabbed in the doorway. The evidence shows she tried to fight the terrorists. The Palestinians then found 11-year old Yoav reading in bed when they stabbed him to death. They apparently also did not notice a 2-year old asleep in his bed but murdered the 3-year old with two stabs to his heart. After that, the terrorists reportedly locked the door of the house and exited through the window.

Palestinian Media Watch reported March 12 on the rampant incitement to violence in the Palestinian Authority media in the days and weeks before yesterday's attack. Just one day before the assault, Sabri Saidam, adviser to and under-secretary of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that weapons must be turned towards the "main enemy [Israel]" and that internal differences of opinion must be set aside.

In the week leading up to the terrorist attack, the PA announced plans for a football tournament named after the first female Palestinian suicide bomber, Wafa Idris, who killed one and reportedly injured more than 150 when she blew herself up in Jerusalem in January 2002.

Earlier, Abbas' representative, Azzam Al-Ahmed, member of the Fatah Central Committee, was the guest of honor at a Palestinian scout ceremony in which buildings representing Jewish residents of the West Bank were blown up.

In December, Abbas granted the relatives of a Palestinian terrorist $2,000 as part of a regular PA campaign that supports so-called "shahids" or "martyrs" who die while attacking Jews.

Palestinian cousins Ahmed Awad, an officer in Abbas' Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis, and Iyad Awad, an officer in Abbas' General Intelligence services in Ramallah, have been charged with planning the attack. Informed security sources said the two did not personally carry out the murders but assisted in the planning and logistics, including aiding in the escape. The actual killers were sleeper cells from Hamas. These men were armed, trained and funded by the U.S.

Both the Preventative and General Intelligence services of Fatah are armed, trained and funded by the U.S. The duo did not personally carry out the murders, but rather they assisting in the planning and logistics, informed security sources told World Net Daily.

Since the late 1990s, the U.S. has run training bases for PA militias. The U.S. also has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in financial aid and weapons to build up the PA militias.

Since 2007, the U.S. has stepped up its efforts at training the PA, including a new, advanced program for Palestinian police to train 500 to 600 cadets at a time at the American bases.

The U.S. currently operates training bases for the PA police and other militias, such as Force 17 and the Preventative Security Services in the West Bank city of Jericho and the Jordanian village of Giftlik.

And what did the Palestinians do when they heard of the killings? They passed out candy as they always do in honor of the killing of Jews. Over the past decade 123 Jewish children targeted and killed by Palestinian terrorists. Click here to see their photos.

The heavens are crying as they see the pictures of the slaughtered Fogel family who were killed like animals by Arab terrorists. Media reports in the BBC, NY Times & CNN tell us about a “settler family” killed by “alleged terrorists.” Not the slaughter of innocent Jews, but settlers & occupiers.

What would the world say if 5 African-Americans were killed by the KKK in the Deep South in this manner, or 5 Democrats killed by Tea Party protesters? Amidst controversy, the government released horrifying visuals of the Fogel family’s blood-drenched corpses. Touching video and pictures are available at CarolineGlick.com. There was a lot of debate over the publication of these pictures, but the Diaspora Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein said: “I want journalists and editorial staff to deal with those pictures. Let those who already have a fixed image of the conflict between the countries or the nations who can’t seem to reach an agreement over a piece of land see the pictures of the three month old baby; maybe then they will understand that their image is distorted.”

Mr. Minister: The media is biased. 5 slaughtered family members won’t shock the world. They hate the Jews. The only democratic state in the Middle East has 5 sleeping family members slaughtered, yet remains condemned and oppressed by the world.
